Puppy Shower

Cascades Humane Society is celebrating the arrival of twenty-one puppies! Meet the puppies, learn about the mission of CHS & enjoy a cupcake!

Saturday, April 12  |  noon to 3pm

Important Adoption Process:

Your desire to find your next pet through Cascades Humane Society is admirable and very much appreciated. Below is the process if you are interested in one of our puppies that will be available April 12.


FOR THE LITTER OF 11 PITBULL/CORGI PUPPIES:
April 12 at 12:00 Noon
Pet Supplies Plus, 1094 N Wisner Drive, Jackson

PupsInstaPet Supplies Plus is hosting a community puppy shower for Cascades Humane Society at their store. We will have the puppies at this event so you are invited to attend and find your new forever friend.

Puppies will be available for you to see and identify which one you would like to adopt. Once you have found your new pet, you will meet with a Cascades representative to put your name on the list for that puppy. Adoptions will be done on a first come first serve basis and require completion of the items listed below under the heading “information needed to adopt a puppy”. Adoptions will be completed at Cascades Humane Society following the conclusion of the puppy shower.

FINALIZING THE ADOPTION – Will take place at Cascades Humane Society after 3 PM when the puppies are returned to the facility. Staff will review the applications based on the time they were received, finalize the necessary paperwork, and collect the adoption fee.


FOR THE LITTER OF 7 SHEPHERD MIX PUPPIES:
April 12 at 12:00 Noon

Momma's puppies 4Puppies will be available for you to see and identify which one you would like to adopt. Adoptions will be done on a first come first serve basis and require completion of the items listed below under the heading “information needed to hold/ adopt a puppy”.

FINALIZING THE ADOPTION – Staff will review the applications based on the time they were received, finalize the necessary paperwork, and collect the adoption fee.


INFORMATION NEEDED TO ADOPT A PUPPY:

  • A COMPLETED ADOPTION APPLICATION FORM
  • IF YOU OWN OTHER PETS – you will need to bring a copy of their vet records that show that your current pets are up to date on all necessary vaccines and rabies
  • IF YOU OWN ANOTHER DOG – your dog will need to accompany you to Cascades Humane Society so we can host a meet and greet between your dog and the new puppy. This is a necessary step to ensure that your current dog will get along with the new dog. Please leave your dog in your vehicle until we arrange a meeting room for you.


PROCESS TO BE FOLLOWED IF THE FIRST ADOPTION IS UNABLE TO BE COMPLETED – if for some reason the first or prior adoptions are unable to be completed then the next potential adopter will be notified.


PLEASE PLAN ON STOPPING BY PET SUPPLIES PLUS TO DONATE ITEMS FROM OUR GIFT REGISTRY FOR ALL OUR PUPPIES, KITTENS, AND OLDER DOGS OR CATS. YOU CAN EVEN GET ITEMS FOR YOUR OWN PETS.
