Pets for Veterans

During the months of November and December and in honor of Veteran’s Day, and while funding lasts, Friends of the Animals and the Samuel Higby & Margaret H. Camp. Foundation are sponsoring adoption fees for Veterans living in Jackson County for up to 2 cats or 1 dog.

If you or someone you know is a US Veteran with an honorable discharge, and lives in Jackson County, Friends would like to say thank you for your service.

To qualify, a veteran must be from Jackson County and show a valid photo ID as well as a copy for their DD214 discharge papers or Jackson County Veteran’s ID card. All animals going to new homes are up-to-date on their vaccines and they will be spayed or neutered.

Adoptions will be sponsored while funding lasts. Adoptable pets can be viewed in-person at CHS or online at chspets.org
