Paws in the Park is Cascades Humane Society’s annual pet-friendly fundraiser. This family-friendly event includes a chip-timed 5k, a shorter ‘Woof Walk’, dock jumping by Ultimate Air Dogs, games, music, vendors, Guardians of Hope, and more! This fun-filled and family-friendly event is a kick-off to summer that you won’t want to miss!

New this year, is a 1-mile Woof Walk, but for those looking for a longer challenge, we will still have our 5k! The 5k will be chip-timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Each participant will receive a unique finishers medal, a moisture-wicking performance t-shirt, a professional photograph by April Messer Photography, and more! Don’t miss out! Sign up today!
The Swag
Jump Your Dog!
Any dog can participate in the dock-jumping action with Ultimate Air Dogs! That’s right! Any size, any age, and any breed dog can compete to see who will jump the farthest (as long as they are good swimmers)!

NEW!! Vaccine Clinic
New this year we are excited to announce a vaccine clinic. It will be on a first come, first served basis. Please only bring healthy pets, all sick animals will not be vaccinated and will be referred to your veterinarian. Services include: Distemper vaccine, bordetella vaccine (dogs only), rabies vaccine, heartworm testing (dogs only), parasite preventative, and microchipping.
Prices:
Dog Distemper vaccine: $22
Cat Distemper vaccine: $22
Bordetella vaccine: $22
Rabies vaccine (both cat and dog): $22
Microchips (lifetime registration): $25
Heartworm test: $35
Heartworm preventative will also be sold, price dependent on weight
*Healthy pets only please. Sick and injured animals will not be vaccinated and will be referred to your Veterinarian.
