It’s A Puppy Shower!

Cascades Humane Society currently has five beautiful canine moms in foster homes nursing more than 20 absolutely adorable little puppies, which means we are about to have a ton of pups looking for their forever homes! So how can we celebrate helping connect these sweet little creatures with their soon-to-be forever families? By throwing a puppy shower!

While in foster, CHS provides everything that each of these moms and pups could need. When they are old enough, they will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, disease tested, and given parasite prevention. But all of that takes resources, and those resources are not funded by tax dollars or national humane organizations. We rely on you, our generous community, to help provide food, water, shelter, veterinary care, and love to more than 1,400 pets who find themselves homeless and in our facility each year.

So how can you help? While puppies sure are cute, they bring added cost to a nonprofit. Your gift of pet supplies, purchasing an item from the gift registry, or making a monetary donation to CHS will help not only these puppies, but it will also help support the other pets in our care and our programs.

We are partnering with the locally-owned Pet Supplies Plus as a donation center. They will have wish lists on hand for you to reference while shopping for your own pet. Or, you can drop items off directly to us here at 1515 Carmen Drive.
