Quarantine Pet Portraits!
Thank you to everyone who has placed an order for their Quarantine Pet Portrait. While this event has ended, our Paw-tists will be back again!
Crazy times call for crazy fun ways of fundraising to keep our daily operations running so that we may be here for those who need us most! Together with our amazing team of staff, volunteers, and our families (because let’s face it…we are all stuck at home together), we are excited to bring to you a fun way to help the pets that we are caring for at the Cascades Humane Society! After all, they still need us, and for us to be able to care for them, we need YOU!
So, we bring you Quarantine Pet Portraits! How does it work you ask? You give us $15 and a member of our team will create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece based on the photo that you send to us. The catch? We are more animal people than art people! One more time. We are more animal people than art people! Our specialties lie in caring for homeless pets who have found themselves alone and in our shelter. We aren’t what you would call ‘artists’. You could say we are Paw-tists (ha!).
To keep our staff, Paw-tists, and the community safe, once the portrait is complete, you may either wait until CHS opens to the public to pick yours up, or we will ship it to you for a small shipping fee.
We have whipped up a few examples from several of our team of Paw-tists and we think they are pretty lovable! These eye-catching portraits will be an attractive reminder of how you helped fund the care of homeless pets during an unprecedented time in our lives that we will most certainly never forget.
Our team of Paw-tists are standing by impatiently waiting (because again… we are all stuck at home together) to create a timeless masterpiece that we know you will love (or at least give you a good chuckle). You do have a chance to get a highly talented Paw-tist who will give you more of an awe factor, but you’re much more likely to get a Paw-tist who will make you laugh.
